Getting to work with sweet babies like this is one of the many reasons I love being a Maryland newborn photographer! Isn’t he adorable? This little guy was so cute–and when I say little, I really mean it. He was soooo tiny and precious!

Bucket shots are always a really popular option for newborn pictures. I have a nice variety of buckets, baskets, and other super cute props in my Forest Hill, MD photography studio so that we can do these types of poses with any color scheme.

I love the really soft blues and grays for this little man. Sometimes people have a tough time choosing between neutrals and more traditional baby colors for their newborn photo session. One way to have the best of both worlds is to choose very light, gentle shades of your preferred color. That way you have color, but the images are still neutral enough to go with just about any decor.

This is one of my favorite poses to do with newborns. So simple and sweet.

This sweet baby boy was a great sleeper for me. As a Maryland newborn photographer, I have lots of tricks up my sleeve for helping babies stay calm and comfy in my studio. But I love it when they’re super easy like this!
